A trekking or navigation overlooking Grey Glacier is one of the main highlights of Torres del Paine National Park you cannot miss.
At Patagonia, people say you can live the 4 seasons on the same day… rain, snow, sun or just clouds… but don’t forget the wind! (specially between December thru March). We were there on April, and luckily it was a sunny day. We trekked passing by native trees and pristine creeks (you can refill your water bottle from them) until reaching a viewpoint. The size of the glacier is impressive, and the shades of whites and blues are really beautiful.
On the way back, we found a big rock and decided to rest and sunbathe a little bit while having the Grey Glacier and Lake as a view, just for ourself… what a treat!
