Between the volcanoes and the Moai, the best way to appreciate the scale of the island and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean, is by foot. Explora Rapa Nui always strive to adjust to the rhythm of each guest, enjoying every step of the journey.
Hikes: Along coastal platforms, the Moai Quarry, the Moai Temples, Caves & Cliffs, Volcanic Cones, Petroglyphs, Ravine of Hibiscus or Terevaka Hill
Biking: along south cost, coastal platforms or Moai Temples.
At Sea: a journey to the islets by boat, artisanal fisheries, snorkeling (at extra cost).

astern Island is a Polynesian island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and it is one of the most remote inhabited islands in the world. The nearest continental point lies in central Chile, 3,512 km (2,182 mi) away. Most of the island is part of Rapa Nui National Park, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, including its 887 stone statues called Moai.
Depending on the season, there are 1 or 2 flights per day from Santiago. The flight lasts 5:40 hrs and on the way back, 4:45 hrs. There is 1 weekly flight from Papeete (Tahiti) to Easter Island, and it lasts 5:45 hrs.
Time zone: UTC-6 (UTC-5 on summer), which means there is a 2 hour difference from continental Chile.
The only town on the island is Hanga Roa, with 5,000 inhabitants. The town features a supermarket, a pharmacy, stores, restaurants, a catholic church and the Rapa Nui Anthropological Museum.

aster Island, on the Polynesian border, has pleasant subtropical weather. July and August are the coldest months, with an average temperature of 18ºC (64°F). February is the warmest month, with an average of 24ºC (75°F) Rainfall is uniformly distributed year round. However, the major precipitation concentration is in May.

The exquisite dishes have been designed to enable guests to perform various explorations and still feel light, agile, and healthy. Dishes are always accompanied by a superb Chilean wine. There is also a menu of Premium wines for those that would like to try other alternatives.
The Explorer’s Bar is the meeting place of the guides for planning explorations. and returning groups at nightfall.

Located inside the complex there is a pool area with a panoramic view, complemented by a Jacuzzi, sauna and massage area, all perfect for recovering from the wear and tear of a long day of exploration.
