    Santiago - Plaza de Armas 1 (1280x851)

Santiago - Plaza de Armas 1 (1280x851) The tour begins from the hotel to the civic center of Santiago, visiting the Moneda Government Palace and the Constitution Square. We continue to the Stock Exchange Commerce, passing by historical buildings such as the Municipal Theatre and Justice Palace.

Next, short walk to the Main Square, surrounded by important buildings such as the Cathedral, Central Post Office and National Historical Museum.

Then, we head to the Paris-Londres neighborhood to see the architecture from 1922-1925 and the San Francisco Church and Monastery ending at Concha y Toro neighborhood.

Almaviva Located in Maipo Valley, surrounded by the Andes Mountain Range, Almaviva Winery is a French-Chilean joint venture between Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Viña Concha y Toro. It was created exclusively to produce Almaviva, the first “Primer Orden” wine in Chile, which comes from grapes of a sole vineyard. Almaviva is a blend of 4 different grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Visiting Almaviva you will have the opportunity to see by yourself all the process of the wine at the modern facilities and by the end taste the magnificent result of a unique wine, blend of the French savoir-faire and the Chilean terroir.

Viu ManentThe winery was founded more than 70 years ago, and their house specialty is Malbec, a wine normally associated with Argentina. In fact, their Gran Reserva wines are perennial favourites, and their lauded Viu 1 wine is Chile’s only malbec icon wine.

Tour & wine tasting at the winery, with the possibility to make a vineyard tour by ancient horse-drawn carriages.

Casa LapostolleCasa Lapostolle, the family-owned producer of premium Chilean wine, celebrate the opening of its striking state-of-the-art gravity-fed Winery & Lapostolle Residence, dedicated solely to the production of its flagship wine Clos Apalta.

Throughout the facilities you will see how gravity plays an important role to gently create our Clos Apalta wine. You will admire a wonderful setting in which winemaking blends perfectly with design.

The tour will take a bit more than an hour, and you will be introduced into the winemaking world; finishing with a tasting of Lapostolle wines, which will be longing to be part of your experience.

MontesApaltaThe best slopes in this valley, with a 45° average inclination and over 49° in the upper slopes, are found at Montes Winery estate where the grapes for Montes Alpha “M” grow. Having a south-west exposure allows the vineyard to have exactly the right level of hours of sunlight (measured in degree days). The ocean breeze (only 80 kms/50 miles away) provides a cooling effect, ideal for slow maturation of the grapes.

The warm days but cool winds at night with their lowering temperatures give a micro-climate particularly suited for growing red grape varieties. Add to this, the poor soils with a small organic composition, drip irrigation, and the high density of vines (over 6,667 per hectare) make growing conditions perfect.

Volcanoes Licancabur and Juriques, Moon Valley, Atacama, Chile

he Atacama Desert is the driest desert on earth, a place of dramatic nature and exotic beauty. Thousands of years of geological transformation have given rise to mountain ranges, dry salt lake beds, small lakes and volcanoes where unique flora and fauna species dwell.

Due to the lack of humidity, high altitude and low light pollution, the skies of Atacama are among the clearest in the world, allowing unparalleled observation of night-time stars and constellations.

Atacama area offers not only impressive natural attractions, but also pre-Columbian vestiges and a rich cultural heritage dating from before the Incas period.
